Get help with hearing aids
The charity Royal National Institute for the Deaf
(RNID) is funded through Somerset NHS Audiology to
offer free hearing checks for those with
undiagnosed hearing loss, as well as information
and basic hearing aid maintenance for any NHS
hearing aids. This free service supports people to get
the most out of their NHS hearing aids.
The hearing aid support services can also give you information on:
• How to look after and clean your hearing aids.
• What to try if you are having a problem with your hearing aids.
• Hearing loss and the assistive devices and technology that can help.
• Other local services and organisations that can help.
